Heerenhuis oak tables are finished with three coats of invisible matt lacquer and should be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth. The varnish contains a UV filter that prevents the oak from yellowing in sunlight. No oiling or repainting required.
Especially in winter, but also when using air conditioning, it is necessary to pay attention to the relative humidity. The relative humidity should ideally be between 50% and 60%. Less than 40% can lead to various types of damage, mainly cracks.
