Heerenhuis began 30 years ago in Antwerp as an antique dealer specializing in large tables. About ten years later, the company moved on to produce its own furniture – mainly tables.
These are characterized by uncomplicated, straightforward design and excellent quality. For example, only natural materials are used, such as solid French oak with knots, non-coated steel or vegetable-tanned leather. Surface treatment is also simple, but effective. Oil, wax or hand-applied varnish finish the carpentry work.
The success proves the sustainable thought of Heerenhuis right: the longer the tables of Heerenhuis are in use, the more beautiful they become.
The Hide leather desk from Heerenhuis has a top made of vegetable tanned leather inlaid in a steel frame. The drawer can be used on the left or right, depending on which side it is used.
Be sure to carefully wipe off dust with a dry cloth and treat with a leather conditioner every three months to keep the surface as soft as butter. It is a handcrafted piece of furniture, slight changes in its appearance are proof of its authenticity and part of its natural charm.
