The PR/01 by La Boite concept is a revolutionary loudspeaker, the result of 7 years of research and development. Originally patented in 1976 by the Cagniard family, the technology has been specially adapted for new digital applications. Named after Active Pression Reflex® technology, the PR/01 offers maximum sound quality in a minimalist design.

The speaker is the result of a collaboration with the Native Union brand, an international company that has revolutionized smartphone accessories. La Boite concept and Native Union share the practical and stylish vision of their creations.

The PR/01 convinces with crystal clear sound, excellent bass quality and impressive power (4 amplifiers with 50 W each), despite their compact volume. Two front speakers act as pistons in a closed chamber (Active Pression Reflex® patent) surrounded by two tweeters. A ventilation port on the back optimizes the bass.

Winner of the Diapason d’Or, an award for excellent audio products, the PR/01 is recommended for a maximum room size of 150 m².

The PR/01 is no longer manufactured, but we still have some fully functional, refurbished devices in stock. These have been carefully tested and offer you the usual sound quality and performance. Please note that the refurbished devices may have minor blemishes such as fine scratches or slight signs of use, but these have no influence whatsoever on their perfect function or sound quality. When you buy a remanufactured PR/01, you receive the usual two-year guarantee, so you can be confident in the quality and durability of this exceptional loudspeaker.

Simplicity and ease of use are paramount: no visible cables, hidden compartments, cable feed-throughs or storage spaces. All connections (optical, RCA, jack, USB…) are located inside the speaker. Once the speaker is closed, sources can be selected by pressing the aluminum knob, which also provides power on/off and volume control.

The special extra: The PR/01 also offers the option of placing a wireless charger in the compartment provided. So you can charge your smartphone wirelessly and enjoy your playlists at the same time!
